Glasshouse Mountains, Queensland
Cool and clear this morning.
My youngest son and I went for a little excursion today – we didn’t walk very much, but sat in the warm sun and he did some sketching of the Glasshouse Mountains and the roaming bush turkeys. And I had a lovely outdoor nap after lunch when the warm sunshine made me very drowsy – I am so grateful for this change in weather, it is such a relief to the spirit.
Late this afternoon, after the sun had passed below the western trees, I saw the international space station pass over – like a bright star moving through the still blue sky – with a clear and cloudless view of us down here today.
